Until CAT 2017, the section was separated into two halves, each with 16 questions in DI and LR. In CAT 2018 and CAT 2019, however, Logical Reasoning had 20 questions and Data Interpretation had 12. The CAT Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation portion now have 22-24 questions, with 6-8 TITA-based questions. The segment in CAT 2020 startled students by including 16 questions from Data Interpretation and 8 questions from Logical Reasoning.
In CAT 2021, the DILR section included 20 questions, 15 of which were non-MCQ.
